Microway® Delivers ServaStor™ InfiniBand Storage Clusters with Lustre Cluster File System for Demanding 64-bit HPC and Enterprise Applications

Microway will exhibit its InfiniBand based, high speed, scalable storage solutions at SC06 Booth 402. Priced at half the cost of alternative offerings, and available in standard configurations ranging from 12 TB to 90 TB, each storage cluster is designed to serve the storage needs of many nodes. For even larger data needs, custom designed storage clusters of over 240 TB are available.
ServaStor products are designed for maximum airflow and minimum noise specifications. The data load is distributed between the available storage servers to reduce contention and improve the aggregate bandwidth of the storage array. One ServaStor cluster can provide hundreds or thousands of nodes with all the storage they require.
New servers may be added without reconfiguring or disturbing existing servers and clients. Microway's storage servers range from a 3U providing 12 TB to an 8U providing 30 TB. New clients may be quickly and easily added at any time.
A typical SERVASTOR IB Storage cluster features Open Source Lustre or PVFS2 Cluster Filesystem, On-line Storage Capacity Expansion, Microway TriCom™ InfiniBand HCA with integrated NodeWatch BMC and Serial Console, one Microway FasTree™ DDR InfiniBand Switch, three Navion Dual Core Opteron Storage Servers, and redundant Navion Dual Core Metadata Servers.

All storage servers are thoroughly burned in with hard drive, CPU, memory and network tests in the exact configuration specified by the customer at time of order. ServaStor solutions are available as an option on Microway clusters, or as an add-on to a data center's existing cluster.
