NumberSmasher 2U Twin² Xeon systems are high-density, cost-effective rack servers ideal for compute- & memory-intensive applications. Each of the four modules operates as an independent server with its own CPUs, memory, networking and storage.
Microway customers have successfully deployed these systems in many environments, including HPC clusters, server farms and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDI). 2U Twin2 platforms are typically far more cost effective than 1U servers for large-scale clustering.

High Density
2U Twin² servers effectively double rack density by utilizing thin power supplies, a shared chassis, and shared cooling in a common 2U chassis.
Independently Serviceable Modules
Each of the four modules operates as an independent server with its own CPUs, memory, networking and storage. Each server may be removed while the remaining three units continue running.
Cost Effective Performance
The common 2U chassis also reduces cost. 2U Twin2 platforms are typically far more cost effective than 1U servers for large-scale clustering.
