Cobra-4
The Cobra-4 RAID systems are designed to meet the performance,
availability, and reliability needs of data-intensive environments.
Based on Ultra160 SCSI technology, the Cobra-4 is the ideal solution for
either single servers or dual servers in clustered environments.
The C4 is a fully redundant system available in modular 3U building
block rackmount configurations. A single C4 can accommodate up to
fourteen U160 SCSI disk drives. Available drive capacities include
147GB, 73GB, and 36GB 10,000RPM models, as well as 73GB, 36GB, and 18GB
15,000RPM disks.
The C4 management software allows for such features as on-line capacity
expansion and non-disruptive software upgrades. Dynamic multi-pathing
software provides automatic load-balancing, I/O distribution, and
failover. These features coupled with RAID, Inc.'s unparalleled service
and support, including StorageWatch®, help to eliminate unplanned
downtime and make the C4 the ideal solution for high performance
servers.
