with clock speeds up to
3.2 GHz. Microway's proprietary Across the Board Cooling™ is
designed to ensure processors, memory, and peripherals are professionally cooled for longer life
and flawless performance. Excellent power distribution is provided by a four module, 950 or 1350 Watt redundant hot-swap power supply.
Quadputer®-Navion™ brings "Quadputing" to compute-intensive applications
at affordable pricing. Microway's introduction of the RuggedRack™ 4U server
follows our tradition of ultimately cooled designs, while still packing the power needed to
perform the most demanding applications. Whether used as a stand alone server or part of an
even more impressive multinode cluster, the Quadputer-Navion is the new workhorse for the
scientific and enterprise communities.
Microway's Cluster Management Software Package (MCMS) is included
and installed at no extra charge. Microway
also installs the GNU compilers by default. Options include the PGI Compilers, PathScale
EKO Compiler Suite, NetworkSpaces Pro and Sleigh for R from SCAI, Platform Computing's LSF HPC, and Streamline Computing's DDT debugger.
All hardware and software is preinstalled and tested prior to shipment.
What does "Quadputing" do for you? It lowers interprocessor latency while increasing bandwidth, thereby improving the performance of fine grain parallel applications.
