Microway Announces GigaCluster Builder-833 (TM) dual 1U rack
configurations.
Kingston, MA -- April 25, 2001 -- Microway, a leading designer
of custom configured Alpha based workstations and Linux Beowulf
Clusters, today announced that it is shipping the 1U GigaCluster
Builder-833. This high performance clustering product provides
dual 833MHz Alpha's in a 1U configuration with up to 2GB memory
and onboard dual Intel 10/100 ethernet. A typical rack enclosure
can hold up to 25 units and provide up to 82.5 Gflops, for
the highest performance and packing density of Alpha's available.
