Microway's Opteron based clusters offer state of the art technology for 64 bit, compute
intensive applications. Clusters are fully integrated with the latest Socket F AMD 64 bit
Opterons, high speed DDR2 667MHz
memory, and high speed interconnects including Gigabit Ethernet, Myrinet and InfiniBand. Microway's
Cluster Management Software Package (MCMS) is included and installed
at no extra charge. Microway also installs the gnu compilers by default. Additional compiler
options include the
PGI Compilers, PathScale EKO Compiler Suite, and the Intel Compiler Suite. Platform Computing's
LSF HPC, and Streamline Computing's DDT debugger are also available. All hardware and
software is preinstalled and tested prior to shipment.
Microway's proprietary 1U chassis offers the best in cooling and is
specifically designed for Opteron™ motherboards. Our tool-less cover design enables
quick access to your system.
Microway's 1U Opteron chassis houses two quad- or dual-core Socket F Opteron 2000 series processors
running at up to
3.2 GHz. The CPU's and memory are cooled using either 4 or 6
(depending on motherboard used) (40mm) fans evacuating air through memory DIMMS and processor
heatsinks covered by a Nomex baffle.
Across the Board Cooling™: a standard design feature in all Microway chassis
to ensure processors and memory are cooled for longer life and flawless performance.
