Microway spent its first 19 years at its original
location in the historic Cordage Park Mill in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
This mill manufactured most of the rope used in the expansion of
the American western frontier, Civil War and First World War.
In November of 2000, we purchased a 30,000 square
foot, state of the art, manufacturing facility designed for our
exclusive use. The growth of our cluster business necessitated this
move. The new location comfortably accomodates each of our critical
departments: manufacturing, R&D, sales, and technical support. In
addition, our warehouse space has tripled.
Over three-quarters of the 30,000 square foot facility is
dedicated to manufacturing clusters, switches and servers. Microway has also
added state of the art network, telephone, and lab/testing facilities.
The new high speed internal network design and implementation and
T-1 administration was handled by senior Microway staff.
The combination of these factors enables Microway's
team to provide excellent service and support
to our customers, while easily increasing personnel levels to accomodate
planned growth.
