The Quad Navion™ is a 4 way server using quad or dual core 8000 series AMD™ Opteron™ processors with clock
speeds up to
2.0 GHz. Its 16 DIMM slots support up to 64G of memory in a single system using 4G dimms!
Excellent power distribution is provided by a 850 Watt power supply.
The Quad Navion platform brings "Quadputing" to compute-intensive SMP and MPI
applications at very affordable pricing. Microway's 2U server
follows the tradition of ultimately cooled designs, while still packing the power needed to
perform the most demanding HPC applications. Whether used as a stand alone server or part of an
even more impressive multinode NUMA cluster, the Quad Navion is the new SMP server for the

What does 4-way SMP do for you? It lowers interprocessor latency while increasing bandwidth, thereby
